Using TurboCASH


The incorrect Windows™ Currency Format may sometimes be displayed. The currency format (R for Rands or £ for Pounds) is displayed on some screens and reports in TurboCASH. Should the incorrect currency be displayed, you need to set the regional settings of your System.

To change the Windows Currency Format:
Click on the Setup - System Parameters - Company Info menu option or press the key on your keyboard. The Company Info screen will be displayed.
Click on the button.
Click on the button of the Company Info Options screen.

If the Regional Settings screen does not launch automatically when you click on the button, you need to click on the icon in the Control Panel of your Windows™ operating system to change or set the date format and the currency format.


The Regional Settings Properties screen will be displayed.

Click to set the Regional Settings to display your correct currency. If the Currency for your Country is not displayed in the select the correct country. Click to save your changes and to close this screen. In some cases you need to restart your system for the changes to take effect. If changes were made, this button will be activated. Click to save or apply your changes. Click to cancel or exit this screen without saving any changes. Check that your country is displayed or select the correct region or country. Title bar. Click and move the mouse to an area and click again to get the Windows help. Click to close or exit this screen. Check that the correct currency is displayed.
Check that the correct region or country is displayed and select the correct region or country (e.g. (English (South Africa), (English (British), etc.), if necessary. You may also click on the Currency tab to format the currency, decimal symbol, digit grouping, etc., if necessary.
Click on the button. If you need to set the date style or format, click on the Date tab.
Click on the button to close or exit the Regional Settings Properties screen and restart your system. If you launch TurboCASH after this, the correct currency symbol for your country will be displayed on the screens, reports, etc.
