CONFIRM QUOTES AND ORDERS - INTRODUCTION
  
TurboCASH allows you to create Quotes of your Stock Items or Services for your debtors or customers and to place Orders with your creditors or suppliers. These Quotes and Orders do not affect your stock quantities and ledger accounts and cannot be posted or updated to the Ledger.

Confirming and Converting Quotes to Invoices:

A Quote must be created for. Once a debtor or customer accepts a Quote, you need to confirm that the quote has been accepted. TurboCASH will convert the Quote to an Invoice. Once the Quote has been converted to an Invoice, you may edit the Invoice (converted quote) in the Input - Documents - Invoices - Enter menu option before you post the Invoice to the Ledger.

 

Input - Documents - Quotations A Quote must already be created for a specific customer or debtor.
Input - Documents - Confirm The acceptance of the Quote must be confirmed and converted an Invoice.
Input - Documents - Invoices - Enter The converted Quote needs to be checked and any unwanted items may be removed or other items added, or quantities changed on the Invoice.
Input - Update Ledger The Invoice may then be posted or updated to the Ledger.


Confirming and Converting Orders to Purchase Documents or Goods Received Notes:

Once the goods are received from your creditors or suppliers, the goods should be checked that all the goods (quantity, quality, prices, etc.) on the Order have been received. TurboCASH will convert the Order to a Purchase document or a Goods Received Note. Once the Order has been converted to Purchase document or a Goods Received Note, you may edit the Purchase document or a Goods Received Note (converted Order) in the Input - Documents - Purchases menu option before you post the Purchase document or a Goods Received Note to the Ledger.

Input - Documents - Confirm The acceptance of the Order must be confirmed and converted an Purchase document or a Goods Received Note.
Input - Documents - Purchases The converted Order needs to be checked and any unwanted items may be removed or other items added, or quantities changed on the Purchase document or a Goods Received Note.
Input - Update Ledger The Purchase document or a Goods Received Note may then be posted or updated to the Ledger.
